Ashley Kohlrus, Chief Experience Officer with $965M Allegacy Federal Credit Union in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA earned the title of 2012 CUES Next Top Credit Union Exec.
Kohlrus’ credit union project about “Mapping the Member Experience” was chosen from a group of five international applicants that had been selected as Finalists by a team of judges in September, 2012. As one of five finalists, Kohlrus’ blog and video updates provided the industry with an insight into the project’s progress, and culminated with a final presentation at CUES’ CEO/Executive Team Network™. Kohlrus emerged the winner after a four-part scoring process that included a panel of judges, a measurement of their social media engagement, plus audience and online voting.

Our Fantastic Finalists
After a rigorous coaching and judging phase, the five finalists for the 2012 CUES Next Top Credit Union Exec challenge were named.
Top 15
The applicants campaigned, the credit union community voted, the ballots were tabulated and the Top 15 were revealed.
Applicants
In the Spring of 2012, the competition expanded worldwide with 113 talented young credit union executives from around the world being nominated. This group of 31 from the United States, Canada and Australia continued on by entering the competition.
