Amanda Thomas is a 31-year-old Marketing & Business Development Manager with Members First Credit Union ($48M) in Columbus, Ohio.

PROJECT SYNOPSIS

 I am working on putting together "Culture Standards" that will be the driving force behind the credit union's strategic goals for the next five years and beyond.

As a credit union with 15 employees, that can mean 15 different strategic directions. However, at our "Brand Celebration Day" in February, 2011, our staff worked together to define this vision as a team.

Our vision is "To be the ultimate financial services provider giving the best experience to our members."

From this vision, a new culture for Members First Credit Union has been born. And with it, a true member experience - not just a banking transaction.

These "Culture Standards" will be the foundation of our future success. From the hiring process, to the brand renovations we make to our retail space...from our job titles to the consistent experience we give our members, it will all stem from our "Culture Standards".
