Marketing and financial education success for your credit union

Founded in 1990, Currency is the leading credit union-focused financial education firm. The It’s a Money Thing Financial Education Program helps credit unions attract, educate and inspire young adult members, and provides education and financial training for members and staff. In addition, Currency partners with CUES to manage the annual Next Top Credit Union competition aimed at celebrating the best emerging credit union leaders and their ideas.

The CUES Next Top Credit Union Exec competition is a perfect fit for Currency! We're all about helping credit unions attract and empower the next generation of members and employees, so when CUES approached us in 2010 to help mount the first-ever international credit union talent competition, we said yes in a heartbeat! In fact, this competition fits perfectly with our purpose to help credit unions deepen their relationships with members and give credit unions an edge in an increasingly competitive financial services environment. If you don't have a roster of strong, emerging leaders who see potential and opportunities for growth and personal development within the credit union movement, there is no way that credit unions will thrive in the future. That's why CUES, the NextGen Membership package and this competition are so important.

It’s a Money Thing

It’s a Money Thing is a collection of effective and affordable financial education content designed to engage and teach young adults while setting your credit union apart. Each It's a Money Thing content pack tackles an important financial topic and includes a video, infographic, handout, article, presentation and social media graphics branded with your credit union's logo. This quality content is ideal for posting to your credit union's website and social networks. It's a Money Thing presentations are a great way to connect with local educators and students.
