Midwest #7: Dana Stillwell

Dana Stillwell is a 28-year-old Marketing Director with Streator Onized Credit Union ($140M) in Streator, Illinois.

Synopsis: My name is Dana Stillwell and I am 28-years old. I am the one-woman marketing team for Streator Onized Credit Union and am in charge of all the advertising, community and public relations, internal incentives and promotions, all fundraising activities and am a member of numerous service organizations.

I strive to serve my community by being involved as well as to get the word out about the credit union movement and the “people helping people” philosophy. That’s why I have undergone my most recent project, which consists of a synchronized light show for our credit union that will be programmed to Christmas music during the 2010 holiday season.  Not only will our light display be visually appealing, it will bring visitors and attention to our credit union to make more of the community aware of who Streator Onized Credit Union is.

After we bring in the people to the credit union, we will turn the attention to two different charities that we support on an annual basis by collecting for Christmas Cops for Kids and the Streatorland Food Pantry – both in great need of donations during this time.

I would like to thank you all for your time and ask for your vote to make me the Next Top Credit Union Executive so you can see the beautiful light display that brings awareness to our credit union and donations to Christmas Cops for Kids and The Streatorland Food Pantry.
